How PixCosmos collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data
2026/07/23
This Privacy Policy explains how PixCosmos ("PixCosmos," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal data when you use pixcosmos.com and our AI image, video, editing, asset, payment, and support services (the "Services"). PixCosmos is the controller of personal data described here unless a notice says otherwise.
This Policy should be read with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy. It does not govern third-party websites or services that act under their own privacy notices.
Depending on how you use the Services, we collect:
We receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from authentication and payment services, and from systems used to process tasks and return results.
We use personal data to:
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and supporting the Services; your consent for optional analytics, marketing, or similar technologies where required; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To perform a task, PixCosmos processes relevant prompts, parameters, uploaded media, and other Inputs through the technical systems used to provide the Services. This processing may produce task status, diagnostic data, and temporary result links. We may transfer Outputs to object storage for continued access.
AI tasks may incidentally process personal data contained in a photo, video, prompt, or Output, including faces, voices, or other likenesses. Only upload that data when you have a lawful basis and the required notices and permissions. Do not use PixCosmos for highly sensitive or regulated data unless you have assessed the risks and determined that the Services are appropriate.
We use task content to fulfill your request, maintain your history, secure and debug the Services, provide support, and enforce our Terms. We do not sell your Inputs or Outputs.
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes above:
We may also share information at your direction or with your consent. We do not sell personal data for money. We do not knowingly share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide choices required by law.
PixCosmos and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use an approved transfer mechanism or other appropriate safeguards and assess relevant provider protections. Contact us for more information about safeguards applicable to your data.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to provide your account and content history, complete transactions, maintain security, comply with tax and accounting rules, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the data and context:
You can delete your account in settings. Database records linked to the account are scheduled for deletion, but legal records and media copies in object storage or other processing systems may not be removed immediately. Deleting an item from the visible asset library may initially hide or soft-delete its record rather than erase every stored copy. Contact support if you need deletion of uploaded or generated media, and we will process the request subject to legal and technical limitations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of marketing, sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and appeal a denied request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
You can update profile information, cancel renewal, manage newsletter status, and delete your account through the Services. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided or account settings. See our Cookie Policy for browser and consent controls.
To exercise another right, email [email protected]. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Rights may be limited where an exception applies, such as protecting another person's rights or retaining legally required billing records.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, access controls, input validation, webhook verification where configured, and restricted service credentials. No online service or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password and protecting your account and downloaded files. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Do not submit a child's personal data or likeness unless you have lawful authority and the processing is appropriate. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this Policy as the Services, providers, or laws change. We will change the date above and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Your continued use is subject to the version in effect, but we will seek consent when law requires it for a new use.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected] or use our contact page.
