1. Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how PixCosmos uses cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies on pixcosmos.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small file placed on your browser or device. Local and session storage let a site retain information in the browser. Some technologies are set by PixCosmos (first party); others are set by providers whose features we use (third party).

2. Technologies We Use

The exact technologies depend on the features enabled in the production deployment and on your choices.

Strictly Necessary

These technologies support functions you request and cannot generally be turned off through our site without making the Services unavailable:

• Authentication and session: Better Auth session and session-cache cookies keep you signed in, protect authenticated requests, and help detect misuse. Sessions are currently configured to expire after up to seven days, subject to renewal and security controls.
• Security and transaction state: temporary verification, OAuth, checkout, anti-forgery, load-balancing, and security values may be used to complete a login, account action, payment handoff, or requested transaction.
• Consent preference: if a cookie-control tool is shown, it may store your choices so we can respect them.

Payment providers such as Stripe or Creem may set necessary cookies on their hosted checkout or billing pages under their own policies.

Preferences and Functionality

• Language: NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you select.
• Local workflow state: local or session storage may remember recent upload references, temporary editor or workbench handoffs, gallery navigation, and similar interface state. Some values remain until removed by the application or your browser; session-storage values normally end when the tab session ends.
• Support: Crisp, when enabled, may use browser storage to provide chat, remember a conversation, and route support messages.

Where required by law, we treat non-essential preference technologies as optional.

Analytics and Performance

In production, PixCosmos may enable analytics providers such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics, Umami, Plausible, OpenPanel, Seline, Ahrefs Analytics, or DataFast. Depending on the provider and configuration, these technologies may collect page views, interactions, referrers, device or browser details, approximate location, session recordings or diagnostics, and identifiers used to distinguish visits.

We use this information to understand feature use, diagnose problems, measure performance, and improve the Services. An integration is not active merely because it appears in this list; it must also be enabled in the deployment. Where consent is required, optional analytics should not be enabled before you choose to allow them.

Security and Abuse Prevention

Cloudflare Turnstile may be enabled on forms to distinguish legitimate activity from automated abuse. It may use cookies or other device and network signals. When the check is necessary to secure a service or action you request, applicable law may allow it without optional-cookie consent.

Advertising

PixCosmos does not currently use site cookies for third-party behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide any consent or opt-out controls required by law.

3. Your Controls

Where a consent control is available, you can accept, reject, or change optional categories through that control. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

You can also use browser settings to view, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage may sign you out, reset language or workflow preferences, or prevent login, checkout, uploads, and other features from working. Browser privacy controls and provider opt-out tools may offer additional choices.

4. Duration

Some technologies last only for a browser session; others remain until their configured expiration or until you clear them. Duration can change when a provider updates its technology. You can inspect current cookies and storage in your browser's developer or privacy settings. We periodically review enabled technologies and aim to retain them no longer than needed for their stated purpose.
